You start with a spreadsheet import — vehicles, drivers and documents go in through a wizard. The hardware you already own connects without swapping devices. Small fleets go live in a few days, with no IT project on your side.

Which telematics and hardware do you work with?

Accepted Answer

We're hardware-agnostic. We ingest data from aftermarket devices, OBD-II dongles, OEM feeds, cameras and fuel cards, normalizing it into one schema. There's also an optional certified-device program — no obligation and no lock-in.

Do you support electric vehicles and mixed fleets?

Accepted Answer

Yes — EV is native, not bolted on. EV suitability from ICE data, charge-to-readiness scheduling, SOC-aware routing, battery health (SOH) and living ICE-vs-EV TCO. You see diesel and electric in one cost per km.

Which compliance regimes and regions do you cover?

Tachograph and EU driving/rest times, US ELD/HOS, IFTA and a document-expiry calendar. Per-jurisdiction configuration (US/EU/UK/CA/AU) and audit-ready exports. The EU Mobility Package and cabotage are on the roadmap.

Where is my data, and can I export it?

You choose the data-residency region, and everything you see in the interface is reachable via the API. The data is yours — export it any time, including when you cancel.

Is Transpira GDPR-compliant, and how do you protect data?

Yes. We process data in line with GDPR — you can export personal data at any time, and on request we erase it permanently (Article 17). Access is controlled by per-organization and per-site roles, traffic is encrypted, and operations leave an audit trail.

How does pricing work — are there multi-year contracts?

You pay per vehicle monthly, at a published price. No multi-year contracts, no early-termination penalties and no hidden fees. Cancel yourself in the dashboard whenever you want.

Yes — you start with a spreadsheet import and pay only for the vehicles you have. Even a small fleet drops paper inspections, manual service-date tracking and hand-built cost reports. As the fleet grows, you just add vehicles — no system change.

Is there a mobile app for drivers and technicians?

Yes. The driver app handles inspections/DVIR, jobs and fuel capture; the technician app handles the work-order queue, parts and sign-off. It works offline, and core tasks take under 10 seconds.

Can I integrate Transpira with the systems I already use?

Yes — everything you see in the console is available through an open API (OpenAPI) on every plan, so you can connect your ERP, accounting or BI tools. The public API reference is part of the product documentation, and spreadsheet imports and fuel cards work out of the box.
